Lap joint pipe flanges are normally used with stub end fittings. It slides directly over the pipe, where a pipe is welded to the Stub End. The Lap Joint pipe flange is free to rotate around the stub end. Lap Joint pipe flanges are used for applications that need frequent dismantling.
